CHRISTMAS WISHES CARD TUTORIAL - PAULA SAUNDERS

To recreate this gorgeous card created by Design Team member Paula Saunders, you can follow the steps below:

·         UCE1750 Champagne Rhinestones
·         Paper Perfect Trimmer
·         UCE2192 Paper Perfect Quick Dry Glue
·         12x12” Black Cardstock

Card size: 15cm x 15cm

Step 1:   
Trim a piece of black cardstock to measure 6 x 9 ½”. Place the long side at the top of your scoreboard & score at 3 ½”. This is your card base

Step 2:   
Find the UCP3209 The Nutcracker paper (A side showing) & trim three pieces. One to measure 5 ¾ x 5 ¾” & two to measure 3 ¼ x 5 ¾”. Make sure one of the smaller pieces has some flower image on it, this piece goes on the inside of your smaller flap. Adhere to the inside & outside of your card base. – See image 1

Step 3:
Trim a piece of black cardstock to measure 2 5/8 x 5 ¾”. Adhere to the inside right of your card

Step 4:
Find the UCP3206 Evergreen Lane paper & trim the A side at the top right corner to measure 2 ½ x 11 ½”. Place the long side at the top & score at 5 ¾”. Fold on the scoreline & adhere to the black piece on the inside of your card – See image 2

 Step 5:
Trim a piece of black cardstock to measure 4x4”. Trim any left-over paper from step 2 to measure 3 ¾ x 3 ¾”. Adhere to one side of the black 4x4” piece.  Adhere this piece to the left of the closed card with the black side showing 

Step 6:
Find the left-over paper from step 4 & trim the A side (the corner with flowers on) to measure 3 ¾ x 3 ¾”, adhere to the black piece on the card front – See image 3

Step 7:
Find the UCP3207 Merry Little Things paper & trim three pieces to measure ¾ x 2 ¾”. Cut a fishtail in one short side of each & adhere to the right of your card

Step 8:
Cut out the images shown below from the A4 cut-a-part sheet & the images shown below from the Creative Cuts pack & adhere to the front of your card

Step 9:
Place some of the Champaign Rhinestones randomly onto your card
