TIPS:
To make the base pages:
Use the Flip Folio Album die set to die-cut all the base pages for the folio from: UCP2788 Calm & Collected paper, UCP2789 State of Bliss paper and UCP2778 Get Lost paper. If you do not have the Flip Folio Album die set, trace around the shape of the album and cut out the individual pieces.
Fussy cut the elements from UCP2783 While Away – Folio Bits paper, UCP2791 Day Dream – Folio Bits paper, UCP2792 Good Read paper and UCP2782 Library Card paper.
Use white cardstock to create your photo mats – Photos in the folio will be 3” x 4”, 2” x 3” and 2” x 2”.
Adhere the die cut base pieces into the folio using double-sided tape
Make additional folio elements by die cutting patterned paper and slip pieces into pockets within the folio.
Decorate the pages with a combination of Creative Cuts, fussy cut pieces, cut-a-part sheet elements, Day Dream puffy stickers, Definition rub-ons and Stripe washi tape.
tip Fold the inside flap back the other way to create a pocket on the front cover. Use wet glue to ensure the pocket holds securely
tip Use the UCP2791 Day Dream – Folio Bits paper and UCP2783 While Away – Folio Bits paper to create pockets in your album, perfect for slipping in photos or other ephemera.
tip Create another interactive element by die cutting paper and adding a score-line ½” from the bottom of one piece and 1” from the bottom of a second piece. Adhere together.
tip Adhere the third folio insert into the centre of the album – Play around with folding the booklet in an accordion, or fold out style. Decorate with Creative Cuts, fussy cut elements and photo mats.
