Yupo paper, Alcohol inks, Embossing powder (gold glitter and white), Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, Stickles, foam tape
Instructions:
Step 1: Create a watery background using alcohol inks on yupo paper. I created a gradient of colours with white and aqua towards the top, and blue and a tiny bit of black towards the bottom. Adhere this to a folded white card.
Step 2: Stamp and emboss the Koi Fish using gold glitter embossing powder onto watercolour paper. Colour it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and a water brush. When dry, add some Stickles (or glitter glue) to the coloured section to add some eye-catching shimmer!
Step 3: Stamp and emboss the sentiment using white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I love how stark the contrast is, but you need to be careful not to have any stray granules of white embossing powder on your cardstock or it may be noticeable! Make sure to prepare the cardstock with an anti-static powder first. Don’t worry, this will brush away later!
Step 4: Cut out the Koi Fish using the matching ‘Best Wishes’ die and adhere it to the card using foam tape. Do the same with the sentiment, and finish off with a scattering of Starry Sky sequins.
