Sending Love - Marge Yoon

SHOP THE KIT

Hi Everyone!

It's Marge for you today and I'm so thrilled to showcase the beautiful new floral stamp set from Uniquely Creative which is called Sending Love.

I'm going to share two cards, with a step by step tutorial for the first one...

I started by stamping Sending Love onto 80lb Neenah White paper using Memento Rich Cocoa ink with the aid of mini-MISTI.

I used brown coloured ink as I wanted to create a soft tone in my colouring.

I coloured the images using my Copic Markers (full markers are listed up at the end of this post) and then I die cut them all using Sending Love Coordinating Dies.

The sentiments were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and then heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.

Seeing these blossoms and leaves, I thought a vase would be perfect for holding the flowers, so I die cut Mason Jar from Bristol paper, coloured it using Memento Nautical Blue ink and Copic Markers.

For the background, I ink blended a piece of A2 sized Bristol paper with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen and Ground Espresso. I splatted with bronze metallic ink over the panel and let them dry.

Now it's time for assembling all the die cuts, which is the most exciting part of card making. I used Glue Dots and foam tape to adhere the pieces together.

I then splattered white and gold metallic inks over the finished panel, let them dry, added some clear and gold sequins and finished off the card.

With a closer look, you could see some purple shades on the petals, and I also added white glossy accent to the jar using a white gel pen.

Copic Markers I used are RV69-RV66-R46-R43-R32-R30-V15-V12-V000, Y11, Y38-Y35-Y15 for flowers, YG67-YG63-YG61-G20 for green leaves, and E47-E44-E43-E42-E41 for brown leaves.

Now here's my second card for today. This time, I coloured the flowers in blue and I used Cross Stitch Nesting Arches Die to make a shaker .

The background was lightly coloured with Distress Ink Peeled Paint.

Using the same colour palettes as the flowers, I chose various sequins and seed beads for the shaker. Please take a closer look at them. Putting sequins into the shaker is my most favourite thing in crafting :)

Copic Markers I used are B39-B37-B34-B32-BG000, Y11, YG01 for flowers, W03-W01-W00 -E42-E41 for grey leaves, YR27-YR24-YR21 for yellow leaves.

Thank you for reading this post. I hope you enjoyed it and I hope this will inspire you in your future projects using the Sending Love Set.
