We are over the moon to announce our new
Creative Kit Design Team for 2023-24!

These amazing ladies will be working with us this year to bring you our Creative Kits. They will also be showcasing our new Collections each month in the magazine and on the blog and will be joined by some equally talented Guests throughout the year.

 

TRACEY SCHULZ

I am the owner of Uniquely Creative and have been in the paper craft industry for about 18 years. I was the founder of Paper Flourish and sold this business 6 years ago to focus on our Creative Kit Club and Uniquely Creative. Paper Craft is my passion and I love both card making and scrapbooking.

 

SHANNAH BARTLE

Hi, I’m Shannah, and I live in the beautiful Adelaide Hills region of South Australia, among rolling hills and boutique wineries, with my police officer hubby, and two cheeky Siberian Forest cats. I'm lucky enough to have turned my crafting hobby into my ‘day job’, working as an Assistant Editor & Photographer (and DT member), for Practical Publishing UK for many years, working on magazines like Simply Cards, Papercraft Essentials, Cardmaking in Easy Steps, and Love Cardmaking magazine. I’ve been on the Design Team for Tracey / Uniquely Creative since 2016 and joined the company as Creative Coordinator & Magazine Editor in 2018. I feel so lucky to be a part of this fabulous company, and I love how it’s bloomed over the years. As DT coordinator, the very best part of my job (apart from all the lovely products of course!) is working with our amazing DT and seeing the beautiful creations they come up with every single month, and I hope you enjoy them too! xox

 

LYDELL QUIN

Hi, I am Lydell.  I am a former schoolteacher who is now mum to 3.... 2 teens and a 9-year-old.  I have been involved in the scrapbooking/papercrafting industry for the past 20 years - crafting, designing, and teaching, and am now thoroughly enjoying designing and creating for Uniquely Creative!  I look forward to sharing some creativity and being inspired by this wonderful group of creatives on the UC Team this year!

 

KYLIE KINGHAM

My name is Kylie and I’m from a small but picturesque country town in the Central West of New South Wales. Here I live with my husband, two children and a tiny rescue puppy named Maximus.

I had a very brief start to scrapbooking 18 years ago which didn’t last too long. I then rediscovered it 7 years ago and have since developed one enormous passion for paper crafting. I enjoy creating across all platforms: scrapbooking, pocket pages, cards, mixed media canvases and off the page projects. In the past few years, I have been very fortunate to be able to share my creativity both in Australia and overseas. I’m hugely passionate about helping others start their own paper crafting adventures through education and inspiration.

When I’m not scrapbooking, I enjoy photography, long walks, and spending time with family.

 

RACHAEL FUNNELL

Hello everyone. My name is Rachael Funnell, I live in the Central West of NSW with my beautiful family - hubby Jason of 25 years, our 2 children Ethan 18, Chloee 16 & our 2 fur babies Toy Poodle - Princess & Dachshund – Storm… I have been dabbling into scrapbooking for about 12 years now and still absolutely love it…. Fortunate enough to been able to teach at my local scrapbooking & surrounding areas over the past 8 years with the added bonus of meeting some beautiful creative souls along the way…. I was lucky enough to have been a Uniquely Creative - Guest Designer in 2020 & am beyond thrilled to have been a Uniquely Creative Design Team member ever since…

 

RACHEL LOWE

Hello crafty friends, Rachel here and I live in a small costal town, Busselton in Western Australia. I am married and the mother of 3 boys, 1 girl, 2 dogs and three cats (yes my house is wonderfully crazy!!!).

I have been a Registered Nurse for my entire working life and love my vocation.

I am a lover of all things paper, but my crafting journey started with Folk Art painting and quilting.

I have been scrapbooking for 15 years now and I would classify my style as contemporary/classic. I am a lover of clean lines, negative space, embellishment clustering, sewing on my layouts and using cut files and die cuts.

I also love creating cards, OTP projects, and 3D paper crafts.

Photography is also a great passion of mine and there would not be a day that passes where I do not snap a photo!

I am so thrilled to be a Uniquely Creative Design Team member and being a part of such wonderful creative talents!

 

LISA AMIET

My name is Lisa Amiet. I am Mum to two wonderful children, and wife to one very patient husband :) We live with our two fur babies in sunny Brisbane. 

I have been scrapbooking for more than 15 years now and I still love everything about it. I love playing with pretty things and trying out new techniques. My favourite part of all has to be all the wonderful people that I have met along the way and am lucky enough to have as friends! My style is constantly evolving depending on what I am working on and the mood I am in at the moment, but you can always count on lots of layers! 

I am so excited to be part of the Uniquely Creative Design Team and I love creating gorgeous layouts to share with you! 

 

LUCY PATRICK

Hi, my name is Lucy and I’m a happily married mum of 2 who is obsessed with card making. I started out as a scrapbooker, but after creating too many pages to store them I changed over to card making and I never looked back.

I regularly designed for Australian Simply Cards, Papercraft Essentials and Cardmaking in Easy Steps. I completed an Interior Decoration course in 2021 but it wasn’t my passion and I’m now lucky enough to be a full-time crafter.

I started a YouTube channel in 2022 creating card making tutorials which I’m having a lot of fun with. I love creating with patterned paper, feminine floral cards and anything girly or cute.

I’m so thrilled to be on the Uniquely Creative design team again, the kits are so amazing, beautiful, and fun to create with!

JENNIFER SHOPPEE

Hi Everyone, I’m Jen and I live in the Melbourne suburbs with my wonderful Husband, Paul. Combined we have 4 adult children & 3.5 Grandchildren (one on the way). Only one of our children still lives at home so lucky for me, this means I now have a bedroom/den for my crafting and plenty of storage and room to create. I love to travel and enjoy walking, zumba and line dancing but my favourite way to relax is cardmaking. I have been cardmaking for about 10 years now and I love creating personalized cards for my family and friends. I am so excited to be part of the Uniquely Creative Design Team as the papers and kits are so beautiful and inspiring to create cards with.

ALICIA BOROWSKI

Hello, my name is Alicia and I've been creating all sorts for over 15 years. I grew up watching my mother sew and create with materials, so I've had a love of creativity for life. In my spare time you will find me in my studio playing around with something. I absolutely love all things colour, so you will see lots of bright, bold colour in my creations. My first love was stamping and colouring with Copics and pencils. I've since self-taught watercolour painting and very recently polymer clay! I love pushing myself to try new techniques and learn by trial and error. I'm absolutely thrilled that I'm part of the UC Design Team and hope to inspire others to go outside of their comfort zone and try new things!

 

NATALIE ELPHINSTONE

Hi, I'm Natalie, sometimes known as 'One Scrappy Doctor', and I live on the south coast of Australia with my supportive Trophy Husband (that's what he calls himself!!) and 4 children who range in age from 13 to 2. I'm a full time Obstetrician and Gynaecologist which keeps me fairly busy outside the house, but I still manage to find time to relax and unwind by playing with some pretty paper and stamps! I started papercrafting about 12 years ago. In the beginning scrapbooking was my main passion, but it's evolved over time to also include Project Life, Bible journalling, and now a lot of card making as well. I've been blessed to work with some of the best crafting companies, stores and magazines over the years, and I'm so happy to continue that tradition this year by joining Uniquely Creative. I can't wait to let the inspiration flow!!

 

STEPHANIE DONNINI

Hi my name is Stephanie and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I have loved crafting for as long as I can remember and have tried everything from quilling to faberge eggs to scrapbooking. I have always had a passion for design and hold a bachelor’s degree in industrial design. What I enjoy most though, is stamping and colouring, which I have done for the last 5 years. I owe a lot of my inspiration to Uniquely Creative! I am so excited to be part of this wonderful team and to share my work with you all.

MARIA ALOISI

Hi everyone! I'm Maria and I live in South Australia. I work full time as a financial analyst. When I'm not working, I go to the gym, Parkrun every Saturday morning and catch up with family and friends. I'm a member of the Adelaide evening branch of the CWA and my hobbies include cooking, photography and reading.

I've always had a love of arts and crafts. I started scrapbooking over 12 years ago and then got into card making. I have been published in 'For Keeps Creative Paper', 'Scrapbook Creations' and 'Scrapbooking Memories' magazines. I have entered cards, scrapbooking layouts and off the page items at the Adelaide Royal Show in the Open Art and Craft section. I was part of the Kaisercraft Design Team at ETC Adelaide when they were a Kaisercraft outlet.

I like to keep myself updated on the latest trends, techniques and products. I don't have a particular style but my favourite technique to use is fussy cutting.

I am excited and grateful to be part of the Uniquely Creative design team!

RACHEL DUTKO

Hi! My name is Rachel Dutko and I live in Adelaide with my hubby, our 2 boys, and a dog. I’ve been scrapbooking for about 8 years. I love using mixed media, texture, and learning new techniques. I think my style is fun, bright, and sometimes messy, 'boy' pages. I mostly create 12x12 layouts, but I also like to create cards, tags, art journal pages, canvasses and OTP projects.

 

KIM EWINS

My name is Kim Ewins and I’m from a Central Western town in New South Wales. I am happily married to a wonderful man & we have 8… yep! 8 wonderful children, with only 2 still living at home. We have also been blessed with 4 grandsons, so far.

I work part time in aged care & create with what time remains. Yes, life is a little hectic at times!

I was introduced to scrapbooking during the Creative Memories party plan era & really enjoyed it. When my youngest child started hitting milestones, I felt the urge to scrapbook & capture all the special times. I have been scrapbooking for around 16 years and have made amazing crafting friends and been part of many fantastic Design Teams. I have also had the privilege of teaching at a few Scrapbooking & Papercraft Shows around Australia. I love creating layouts with lots of layers and prefer neutrals & pastels, but not always! I look forward to creating with the beautiful, inspiring products from Uniquely Creative kits & sharing with you all.

 

MADELAINE DU TOIT

Hi I’m Madelaine also known as the “Madscrapper” and I love to be creative. The scrapbooking bug caught me in 2008 and is my personal escape from the hustle and bustle of life where I can relive and preserve my memories as often as I wish using my favourite photos.

I am a former primary school teacher and I still Iove to educate and inspire others to find their own creativity and am grateful for all the people I have met on my paper craft journey. I am in love with mixed media and I love fussy cutting! It’s my therapy.

I am originally from South Africa and have been in beautiful New Zealand for almost 4 years. I live in Wellington with my amazing husband and two active teenagers. My daughter Hayden is 14 and my son Rogan is 13 (mostly my models in all my layouts).

I have been a guest designer on the Celebr8 South Africa Design Team previously, was futured in several issues of Scrap Affairs Magazine and I have taught classes at retreats and designed kits and taught classes in South Africa and in Wellington. I got to teach at SENZ North 2021. Since moving to NZ I am a full time design team member for Celebr8 Australia and a former 3 Quarter Designs design team member. I am absolutely delighted to join the UC team!

 

KIM ARNOLD

 

Hi my name is Kim and I am an Aussie living in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand with my husband, teenage son and crazy corgis.

My style of scrapbooking is sometimes described as simple, but I rely on well-designed compositions with a strong emphasis on effective colour use. I also often scrap male subjects, my dogs and day to day life. I also like to include mixed media techniques and try new things while remaining consistent to my style and always recording my stories. I am also a HUGE fan of gold and paint/ink splatters!

I have been scrapbooking since pregnant with my son, so around 18 years now. Over that time I’ve designed for a variety of stores, manufacturers, magazines, wholesalers, kit clubs and challenge sites. Life got in the way for a few years and my creativity dropped away. I came to realise that being creative makes me happy and is an essential part of me - and so five years ago I came back to scrapbooking, storytelling and have more recently taken up painting.

I am so happy to have been asked to design with Uniquely Creative.

ASHLEIGH FREESTON

Hi, I’m Ashleigh. I became interested in papercraft from a very young age, inspired by my Grandma and Mum. This passion evolved and led me to working and teaching in a scrapbooking store for many years. Upon completing university studies, I moved from retail to an office, however, my love of card making has continued. My style is ever-changing, and I currently love using lots of inks and mixed media products, combined with adorable images coloured with Copic Markers. 

I look forward to being on the Uniquely Creative Design Team with an amazing bunch of creative people. I hope I can inspire you to create too! 

 

KELLY McCAUSLAND

Hi, I’m Kelly and I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband and two kids. I’ve been a paper crafter for many years till a friend introduced me to Copic markers and I was hooked on colouring! I love creating scenes with cute stamps and trying new techniques. I look forward to sharing my creations with you and hope you feel inspired to create too!

JULIA PERSICO

Hi! I'm Julia, from country Victoria, and I am absolutely thrilled to be a member of the Uniquely Creative Design Team! 

Like many, my crafting journey started sitting around a neighbour's dining room table with a group of like-minded strangers, learning about this new wiz-bang thing called scrapbooking with Creative Memories. How the industry has grown!

I'm proud to have had my works published in several leading Scrapbooking magazines, and from starting as a craft student to becoming a craft teacher myself. I have designed and taught classes at scrapbooking stores, and also demonstrated at 'make and take' tables at various craft shows and Spotlight stores. You'll find me on Instagram @Julia688, sharing and seeking inspiration. 

I love creating with all different styles and mediums and pushing my comfort zone.

I'm a firm believer in there's no 'right and wrong' in scrapbooking and card making - just creative experiments!!

Hello crafty friends, I’m Rachel. I was born in Gippsland, Australia. I have two amazing children, the cutest fur baby named Flash and one very supportive husband. I have been making things my whole life but have a passion for card making, especially when I get to colour an image. I have completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Diploma of Education.
