Steps for the Modern Christmas Trees card:

1. Take a piece of watercolour paper 10.5cm x 14.5 cm should be enough. Smooshing technique: Using Distress Oxide Inks, dab ink pad onto a piece of acetate (in random areas but distributed to cover the watercolour cardstock size) and lightly spray with water. Push acetate down onto watercolour paper so that the ink is transferred in ‘patches’ onto the watercolour paper. Lightly dry this layer with heat tool. Repeat the smooshing technique for the 4 colours – Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Mustard Seed, until you are happy with the colour coverage. Let dry.
2. Using the Christmas Trees Dies, die cut 5 trees from the watercolour piece. Splatter the trees with Shimmer Spritz Sparkle Spray.
3. Take a piece of Kraft cardstock that has been die cut with a Stitched Rectangle die and adhere to the front of a Kraft card base. Adhere the 5 trees to the front of the card as shown.
4. Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments stamp set onto black card using Versamark Ink and white emboss it. Trim and adhere the sentiment strip to the front of the card.
