Tis the Season - Ali Farmer

Hello Crafters! Ali joining you with a cute card from the Naughty or Nice release! I had such fun creating with this release and wanted to show you how you can maximise your stamp sets by using the small stamps in sets for a focal point. Small stamps are often overlooked, but when used as a feature they can often 'steal the show'!

This card was created using that cuter-than-cute Gingerbread man from the O Christmas Tree Stamp and die set. To begin, I gathered my supplies:

    Patterned Paper

O Christmas Tree Stamps and Dies

White card base, black cardstock, white carstock

    Red & White Twine

    White Snow Marker

Begin by stamping out the Gingerbread image 9 times in Copic friendly Ink.

Colour the images with your medium of choice (I used Copics). Browns E23, E33, E53, Reds R59, R24.

Die cut your images and then decorate hat with Snow Marker (briefly heat set with heat tool).

Adhere finished gingerbread men onto string of twine with either liquid glue of adhesive tape.

Stamp out the sentiment 'tis the season' in black ink onto white cardstock and die cut. Stamp out the 'To Be Jolly' sentiment onto black cardstock and white emboss it. Trim into strip.

Adhere patterned paper to white cardbase and adhere string of gingerbread men from edge to edge. Adhere the sentiments.

They are such a cute feature - small but mighty!

Thanks for joining me and hope you are enjoying all the inspiration for the new release!

    Ali xx
