    3 Favourite Aussie Christmas Traditions

With the release of our Merry & Magical Collection last week we are starting to get excited about the lead up to Christmas. We strongly believe that Christmas is the most magical time of the year.

Whilst we love everything about Christmas, I have chosen 3 Aussie Christmas Traditions to share with you today that are loved by us and many other Australians too.

    1. Christmas Lights
Christmas lights seem to become more spectacular each year with some houses and even whole streets and neighbourhoods adorning their homes with amazing lighting displays, usually set up to light up the nights from December 1st.

There are Chrismtas lights to suit all tastes, from giant presents to moving reindeers and even Santa disappearing down the chimney!

Christmas lights get everyone into the Chrismtas spirit and bring people together in awe of the displays. There is nothing better than seeing the wide eyed children taking it all in.

    2. Carols By Candlelight
Each year Carols By Candlelight celebrations take place all over Australia. Christmas Carols might be the only songs that have no generational boundries and are loved by everyone from granpa right down to the grandchildren.

Whether watching it televised or being out there at your local park, there is something special about people and families coming together to join in song. It builds a sense of united community and you can't help but feel the Christmas spirit and tradition when singing loudly.

    3. Backyard Cricket
Is it even Chrismtas in Australia if there's not a game of backyard cricket involved? Time to get the wheelie bin into position as the stumps and get the extended family out on the field.

There'll be shouts of 'howzat' and the age old debate that you can't be out first ball!  Let's hope that your unforgettable hook shot doesn't result in a broken window.

The backyard cricket game is a great way for all ages of the family to come together and create special memories.

Just writing this is getting me excited about Christmas. There's so much to love it is hard to stop at just three favourites!

This layout is truly magical and the photo is perfect. I haven’t done any scrapbooking for around 5 years, once I got hooked on card making, but I think I might have to start again now that I’ve seen these Christmas products and the gorgeous layouts you ladies have created. Stunning.
