White & black card-stock, watercolour paper, VersaFine Clair Ink,  Zig Clean Colour Real Brush Markers, paintbrush, paper trimmer, die-cutting machine, circle die, White Gouache.

Instructions

1. Cut a piece of white card so it measures 8 1/2” x 7” and then score down centre to make a card measuring  8 1/2” x 3 1/2”.

2. Cut strip of patterned paper so it measures 8 1/4” x 3 1/4”.

3. Ink up butterflies with VersaFine Clair Nocturne (black) ink, stamp on watercolour paper and heat set.

4. Colour the Butterflies using Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blend with a wet paint brush. Add some clear Wink of Stella for shimmer effect if desired.

5. Colour spots with watered down White Gouache or you could use a gel pen.

6. Die-cut the butterflies and 3 circle shapes from black card.

7. Cut sentiment from Butterflies Cut-a-Part sheet to complete the card.

8. Construct card, layering the patterned paper, circles and butterflies.
