Arty Love Mixed Media Mini Kit

Instructions

Step 1

Trim a 12 x 12 piece of white cardstock down to 11 x 11 inches. Using waterproof ink, stamp a couple of the Mark Making Mini Stamps a few times to create a focal point. 

Step 2

Use Distress Oxide inks to sponge colours through the Stripe Stencil from the kit. Keep the colours in the same order as the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet) to ensure a harmonious blending of colours.

Step 3

Spritz the sponged colours with water and spread the colours over the page by blowing through a straw.

Step 4

Use Distress Oxide inks to colour the laser cut word.

Step 5 

Stitch coordinating scraps of fabric, ribbons and lace over the corresponding colour on the layout. Mount the photo strip with black cardstock and adhere in place.

Step 6 

Adhere buttons, jewellery findings and metal caps over the corresponding colours. Adhere the coloured word in place over some black cotton thread. Mount the layout onto black cardstock.
