    Card Creation

Hi All, I have made a fun whimsical card for you all today with the new Fairy Princess stamp set from the August Stamp and Colour kit. I have been loving playing with alcohol inks as of late and really enjoyed making backgrounds. In today's card I have made a loose pink to purple colour combo background that I have added the blending solution to, almost making a watercolour effect but so much brighter.

Because I chose to heat emboss my sentiment on the alcohol ink panel, I made sure I used the cardstock version of Yupo paper as this is a thicker cardstock which can withstand heat without warping.

I have to say, these little fairies from the set are so adorable and fun to colour in. I have used an array of Copics to colour them in.

TIP – If you have a limited range of Copics, I have shown in my video the technique where you can use colours that are not close in their colour families but still get a decent blend happening.

To finish the card off, I added some clear sequins randomly on the card front.

Hope you enjoyed today’s process video.
