My first card 'Live More Worry less' is created with a Distress Oxide background
The Ink was applied with a blending brush for a smooth, even finish, then splattered with clear water and dabbed with a paper towel to create the mottled background effect.  A white paint pen was used to add some white circles to add to the water effect.
The cute possum image was coloured with copic markers, die cut with the matching die set and adhered with fun foam die cut in the same shape.
The 'Oh Crab' Card was created using the Uniquely Creative Stitched Rectangles Set, cutting out a window in the card base.

Yellow Distress Oxide and a blending brush was used to softly frame the card front.  The crabs were stamped and coloured with Copics with tiny details added with a white paint pen.  These were die cut using the matching Die set.  I used the die to cut the same crabs from white fun foam to give these little characters dimension.  Inside the card I used some Patterned Paper from the kit, the little Crabs and some Sequins and Sunshine Pearls.

"Squeeze the Day" was another fun card to create.  I stamped the lemons on cardstock with embossing ink and clear embossed them.  I used Distress Oxides to colour the paper and then buffed with a damp baby wipe revealing the lemons.
For the shaker I used the Uniquely Creative Stitched Circle Dies and cut out a circle.  I matched it with an old circle die set I had in my stash to create the frame (while I was at it I cut the same frame from white fun foam to get the walls of my shaker)  I then cut 2 acetate solid circles -one the same size as the frame and one a little larger.....I added one acetate circle on the very back then poured in the sequins with a little crystal glitter and added the top acetate just beneath the yellow stitched frame for the front. This creates a very nice simple 4 layer shaker card!
The last simple card 'Hello Sunshine' is also based on a die cut from the Stitched rectangle set.  These dies create very pretty, decorative mats to layer on your card fronts.

So easy with three stamped and coloured watermelon pieces, cut with the matching die set and also from white fun foam so you have a very easy dimensional mount for the images.  A simple phrase was stamped and embossed in black, with a few Rhinestones added.
Quick tip....Rhinestones can easily be coloured with Copic marker or any permanent marker to alter the colour!  (Just set aside to dry for a bit before handling)

Thanks for stopping by today.  We hope you are all enjoying your December Summer Stamp and Colour Kits!
